Information we use and why
When you contact us, we receive your contact details, correspondence and information about artworks that interest you. A purchase may require contract details, delivery information and payment confirmation. We use this information to respond to your request, arrange and fulfil your purchase, meet legal obligations and protect rights in disputes.
Our legal bases are steps you request before a contract and its performance, legal obligations and, where permitted by law, legitimate interests in protecting rights and security. Updates about new artworks are based on your consent. Providing information is voluntary, but without necessary contact or delivery details we cannot reply or fulfil an order.
The website uses Cloudflare, which processes technical information, including IP addresses and connection data. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides visit and performance statistics. Cloudflare describes this analytics service as not using cookies, localStorage or visitor fingerprinting; this does not exclude technical cookies from other service features.
Access and services
Mikhail Goloshchekin and Maria Hazanskaia access buyer information from Georgia. We use communication, email, document storage and hosting services provided by Telegram, Proton, Google and Cloudflare. Their infrastructure may process information in other countries.
For a purchase, necessary information may be shared with payment organisations and delivery providers involved in your order, and with competent authorities where required by law. External websites have their own privacy policies, which also apply when you visit them.
Updates about new artworks
We send updates by email or Telegram only within the scope of your consent for that channel. A purchase or subscription to our Telegram channel does not, by itself, subscribe you to personal marketing messages.
You can opt out free of charge by replying to a message or writing to hazart.project@proton.me. This does not affect necessary correspondence about your purchase or the lawfulness of processing before consent was withdrawn.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are deleted 12 months after the last communication, unless negotiations remain ongoing or the information is needed for a specific dispute. Contract, payment and accounting records are retained for mandatory periods and for periods necessary to defend legal claims.
Marketing contact details are kept while the subscription and its purpose remain active. The fact and date of consent and withdrawal are retained during marketing and for one year after it ends. A minimal opt-out record may be kept as long as needed to prevent further unwanted marketing.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can obtain information about processing and a copy of your data, request correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, exercise data portability and withdraw consent. Contact hazart.project@proton.me to make a request; reasonable identity verification may be required.
You can also complain to the competent supervisory authority: in Georgia, the State Audit Office of Georgia; where EU or UK law applies, the relevant data protection authority.
